all the books i read and my favorite quotes

The eternal audience of one - Rémy Ngamije
beautifully written, the chemistry between the characters is outstanding. It is one of these books that feel very honest.
I valued it for it's decentering of whiteness and "the west" and its panafrican narrative.
Though it was very interesting to read about the intersection of xenophobia, colorism and racism, the take of feminist issues fell a bit short. The book had a lesbian, black side character, but the sometimes misagonistic remarks of the male characters stayed unchallenged and unchanged.
"Forgiveness, real forgiveness, requires the other person to remember, not to forget. When people forget the reason they forgave, the forgiven forget to earn their forgiveness.”

Gideon the ninth - Tamsyn Muir
a good friend got really excited about it and the fanart is compelling. So far I am confused by the crosssection of spacetravel and sportsmanship is quite far from my usual reading, but the main character is a butch so i kinda have to give it a shot.
